We went out in our hi-vis vests, grabbers and gloves provided by Milton Keynes Council. It was a good day to go as it was Earth Day around the world.
We went along stretches of the A428 just outside the village. It was a bright, dry morning and we collected eight large bags of rubbish as well as a printer, car trim and a water bubble tube. The major item of rubbish collected was drink bottles and cans. Other items were plastic bags caught in the hedgerows and cigarette packets.
The four of us agreed it was a worthwhile morning. Why not come and join us the next time we have an organised litter pick? Watch this space for future dates.
