Posted on 9th November 2015 at 19:15
Day and night, 365 days a year volunteer community responders assist patients and save lives around the country. Working as part of a team that includes ambulance staff, they make a significant contribution to a persons chance of surviving a life threatening emergency.
Lavendon is quite a distance from the ambulance centre, having a CFR to hand until the emergency services arrive, is such an asset to our village.
For more details visit www.southcentralambulance.nhs.uk
Extensive training is be provided.
If you would like to talk to one of our councillors who is almost qualified as a CFR, please contact the clerk who will put you in touch.
